  Virginia Eason Hand, 95, of Tifton died Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 
Berrien Nursing Center.
 She was born December 11, 1919, in Keysville to the late Henry Lawrence and 
Lillia Poole Eason. She was a homemaker and a member of Tift First United 
Methodist Church. She was the widow of Harvey Dillard Hand and was also preceded 
in death by two sons, Thomas Hand and Michael Dillard Hand, and several brothers 
and sisters.
 She is survived by six grandchildren, Allyson Snipes of Canton, Lawrence 
(Brook) Hand of Alapaha, April (James) Ware of Woodstock, Christina Allen and 
Jennifer Brown, both of Nashville and Jason Stevens of Fredericksburg, VA.
 A graveside funeral service was held on Monday, November 30 at 11 a.m. at Oak 
Ridge Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
