Born Dec. 27, 1935 in Cherokee County to the late Arthur Alonzo and Dorothy Hasty Harbin, he was a retired construction project manager and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include four daughters, Janice Lynn Rohme of Sacramento, CA., Donna Robins, Winter Haven, FL., Elizabeth Johnson, Smyrna, Tiffany Harbin, Booneville, MO; three sisters, Ruby Flowers, Betty Erickson, Nell Erickson, all of Nashville; one brother, Clarence Harbin, Brunswick; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson. He is preceded in death by a sister, Louise Wilcox, and two brothers, Sam Harbin and Glenn Harbin. Funeral service were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 14 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Songs on CD included "How Great Thou Art" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were John Erickson, Jeff Erickson, Mark Flowers, Mike Flowers, Ronald Wilcox, Keith Wilcox, Jim Creel. Memorials are requested to Hospice of Tift Area. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
