She was born August 21, 1934 in Berrien County to the late Manning Griner and the lat the late Fannie Stanford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Mission Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Chester Harnage, Jr and was als was also preceded in death by a sister and 4 brothers. She is survived by her son: David F. (Twila) Harnage of Kill Devil Hills, NC; grandc grandchildren: Ryan and Erin Harnage, Nick and Keli Harnage all of Chesapeake, VA; 4 VA; 4 great grandchildren: Ashlynn, Kourtney, Kathlynn, and Matthew; sister: Irene Irene Self of Nashville; 2 brothers: Cecil Griner of Nashville and Harold Griner Griner of Tifton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 29, 2011 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lo of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Darlene Parker sang sang "Go Rest High on That Mountain," " How Great Thou Art," and "Rock of Ages." Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from from 6 to 8 PM. Lovein Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
