  Kathy Doree Harpe, 51, of Ray City died July 23, 2010 at her residence after a 
a lengthy illness.
 She was born February 18, 1959, in Jacksonville, FL to Iris Farlene Wilson M
Manning of Ray City and the late Henry A. Manning. He and her husband owned and o
operated H&K Supermarket in Ray City for many years. She is preceded in death b
by a son, Mickey Dean Brown.
 Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Howell Harper of 
Ray City; two daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Regene Harper of Valdosta and 
Tonya Rebecca and Dewayne Morey of Adel; three sons and daughter-in-law, Howell 
B. Harper of Vermont and Thomas “Kyle” and Brandy Harpe and Jason Lee Harpe all 
of Ray City; 11 grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in law, Rhonda and 
Randy Cheatham of Jacksonville, FL, Diane and Sid Davis of Ray City and Rossina 
and Kenny Harrell of Valdosta; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Keith and
and Carol Manning and Gary and Amanda Manning, all of Ray City, Jimmy and Judy Man
Manning and Bruce Kennedy, all of Jacksonville, GA.
 Funeral services were held July 25 at 3 p.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Fu
Funeral Services with burial in Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the family.
