She was born November 3, 1930, in Berrien County to the late John S. and Della Connell Fender. She was a homemaker and had been employed with Nashville Mills in quality control and was a member of Ray City First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister Mildred Hamn. She is survived by daughters Linda Browning of Birmingham, AL, Joyce Burton of Calabasas, CA, Marjorie Cooper of Winifrede, WV; sons, Howell Harpe of Ray City, Johnny Harpe of Ray City, Marion Harpe, Jr. of Ray City; sisters, Kathleen Adrian of Nashville, Barbara Durrance of Nashville; brother, Wayne Fender of Nashville; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren. The family would like to thank her daughter grandchildren. The family would like to thank her daughter-in-law, Stephanie, fo for her help and support during this time. A graveside service was held December 16 at 4 p. m. at Westview Cemetery with t the Revs. Jackie Connell and Mark Swain officiating. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
