NASHVILLE -- Flora Belle Harper, 86, of Route 1, Lenox, "West Berrien 
Community" in the Berrien County Hospital after a short illness. She was a 
lifelong resident of Berrien County and a member of the Oaky Grove Primitive 
Baptist Church. She was the widow of John E. Harper who died in 1980.
 She is survived by one daughter, Elma Barber, Nashville; one son, Mack E. 
Harper, West Berrien, eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 5 great 
great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Ellender 
Harper, Yvonne Harper, Johnnie Fife, a grandson, Henry Daniel Harper, III, and 
a granddaughter, Jackie Barber Lazar.
 Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in the Oaky Grove Primitive Baptist 
Church. Elder Dwight Marshall and Elder Alfred Simpson will officiate. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at her residence 
until services.
 Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville is in charge of arrangements
