NASHVILLE — Thelma Elizabeth Harper, 82, of Nashville died Thursday, July 14, 
2005, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 1, 1923, in 
Berrien County to the late George and Rachel Exum Powell. She was a homemaker. 
She was the widow of Willie Harper who died in 1969. 
Survivors include one daughter, Annette Stanley of Morven; one son and 
daughter-in-law, Homer and Luneal Blanton Harper of Nashville; one grandson, 
John Stanley of Nashville; seven granddaughters, Tammy Harper, Lisa Kay 
Harper, Joanne Harper, Kacy Stanley, all of Nashville, Patricia Stanley, 
Morven, Anita Angell, Valdosta, Pamela Perez, Adel; four great-grandchildren, 
Jessica Stanley, Katie Stanley, both of Nashville, Ashley Angell and Justin 
Angell, both of Valdosta. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005 in the Chapel 
of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. John Gandy officiating. Burial will be 
held in Empire Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. this evening. —
