She was born in Lowndes Co. and had lived in Alapaha most of her life. She was employed as a beautician and was a member of the St. Ann's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Carroll Harper of Alapaha; one daughter, Jodie Roberts of Alapaha; two sons, John Harper and Justin Harper, both of Alapaha; her father and mother, Irvin and Lenora Jenkins of St. Rose, La; three sisters, Barbara Jones and Leann Kimble, both of St. Rose, LA and Tammy Jones of Gulfport, MS; brother, Irvin (Jinx) Jenkins of Whilbi Island, Oak Harbor, WA; two grandchildren. The funeral mass will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Alapaha with Father Jim Walker officiating. Burial will be in Glory Cemetery. The rosary will be said Sunday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home.
