She was born April 11, 1920, in Berrien County to the late Charlie W. Rowe and the late Pearl Childs. She was a homemaker, a member of Rowetown Missionary B Baptist Church, and widow of Mack Harper who died in 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Barker Collins of Nashville and Bonnie (Neal) Watson of Tifton; two sons, Robert (Laurie) Harper of Nashville and Marshall (Lynn) Harper of Valdosta; a daughter-in-law, Marie Harper of Omega; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. S She was preceded in death by a son, Leroy Harper; two daughters, Ruby Nell and M Maxine Harper; three brothers and two sisters. Services are scheduled at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2010, in the chapel of Lovein Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. John Evans Patten officiating. Songs on CD i included "Amazing Grace" and "Just One Rose Will Do." Burial will follow in Willacoochee City Cemetery.
