 Ethadaer Harper-Lane, 80 of Ray City died Jan. 2, 2010, at Lakeland Villa C
Convalescent Center.
 Born March 1, 1929 in Lanier County, she was the daughter of the late William a
and Mary Skinner Suggs, a homemaker, and member of Knight's Memorial Missionary B
Baptist Church. She was the widow of William B. Harper and Lowell Lane.
 Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Juanita Diane Frees of 
Lakeland and Tammy and Jesse Parker of Hahira; four sons and three daughters-in-law,
Bennie and Sandy Harper, Gary Harper, and Jerry and Sharon Harper all of Ray City,
Larry and Paula Harper of Winnie, TX; sister, Belle Palmer of Ray City; brothers,
Carlton Suggs of Vienna 
law, Bennie and Sandy Harper, Gary Harper, and Jerry and Sharon Harper all of 
Ray City, Larry and Paula Harper of Winnie, TX; sister, Belle Palmer of Ray 
City; brothers, Carlton Suggs of Vienna and Junior Suggs of Lakeland; 12 
grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She was

was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Harper, who died in 1990 and two brothers.
 Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at 2:30 at the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home wit
with the Revs. Jim Williams and Jeff Palmer officiating. Songs on CD inc
included "Go Rest High on That Mountain," "Amazing Grace," and "I Want to Str
Stroll Over Heaven With You."
 Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Gary Stone, J.J. Harper, Benji Harper, Jason Peters, Clint P
Parker, Trey Huchinson.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
