She was born April 18, 1926 to the late John Livingston Parrish and the late Mary Ester (Mamie) Heape Parrish. She was a native of Lakeland, but had resided in Berrien County for the past 65 years. She was a retired beautician who enjoyed working in her flower gardens and loved spending time with her family, friends, and church family. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW for 40 years and attended New Fellowship Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Harrell, daughter, Debbie Harrell Browning, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lucian (Mary) Parrish and W.I. (Evelyn) Parrish, brother-in-law, George Ganas. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny (Nancy) Harrell of Ray City; Wesley (Dianne) Harrell of Naylor, Jacky (Mary Ann) Harrell of Macon, Frank Harrell of Cookeville, Tenn.; daughter-in-law, Brenda Vaughn of Tifton; son-in-law, Jimmy (Debbie Hudson) Browning of Nashville; nine grandchildren, Teresa (Scott) Jaglelski of Nashville, Beth Browning of Valdosta, Dana (Joey) Ellis of Naylor, Mark (Angie) Harrell of Valdosta, Lisa (Erik) Cobbs of Cookeville, Tenn., Amy (Scott) Marlow of Macon, Angela (Tim) Carter of Ray City, Jonathon (Jennifer) Harrell of Forsyth, Tina (Eddie) Browning of Nashville; two brothers, Edgar (Jovanne) Parrish of Lakeland, Bobby (Nina) Parrish of Guyton; sister, Tiera Ganas of Valdosta; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held this evening from 7-9 p.m. at Lovein Funeral Home. - Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville.
