 ALAPAHA -- Bobby D. Harris, 70, Alapaha, died Monday, April 26, 1999 at his 
residence. Bobby was born on Dec. 9, 1928 in Prentice Co., Miss. He was the 
son of Mr. James Cecil Harris and Ms. Lena Pearl Pounds. He was a retired 
truck driver. He was a member of Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, 
Altie Luke Harris, Alapaha; two daughters and sons-in-law, Freida and Jimmie 
Middlebrooks, Enigma, Patricia and Jimmy Anderson, Trion; two sons and 
daughters-in-law, Marlon and Tammy Harris, Enigma, Cecil Lamar and June 
Harris, Alapaha; two sisters, Margie Kleck, Booneville, Ark., Marilyn 
Turvavile, Marietta, Miss.; four brothers, Wyndell Harris, Marietta, Kenneth 
Harris, Marietta, Luther Harris, Marietta, Waymon Harris, Greenwood, Ark.
 Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Alapaha Baptist Church. The Rev. 
Alan Fuller and the Rev. Pete Jones will be officiating. Interment will be at 
Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with the family 
receiving friends from 7-9 p.m.
