"Bud" Harris, 82, of Nashville died August 8, 2006 at Berrien County Hospital. Born May 1, 1924 in Northumberland County, PA, to the late Ralph S. and Mary Susan Benfor Harris, he was retired after 27 years service with Owens-Illinois and had been employed with Chaparral Boats and the Berrien County Board of Education. For the past 13 years, he had been associated with Ray and Son Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church and a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Sutton Harris of Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ed Blevins of Nashville; sons and daughters in law, Wayne and Linda Harris of Moultrie and Jimmy and Marsha Harris of Alapaha; four sisters, Mildred Feltzer of White Deer, PA, Frances Emery and Eleanor Bobb, both of Lewisburg, PA, Louanne Sheets of Montandon, PA; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Janey Schenck of White Deer and Kay Aikey of Milton, PA. Funeral services were held August 11 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. Dan Taylor sang "Because He Lives." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronald Griner, Jimmy Lane, Larry Rice, Sonny Griner, Ronald McCranie, Tim Coombs, Hiram Griffin, Roho Morris. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
