Born October 30, 1942, in Berrien County to the late Shelton and Carrie D DeLoach Harris, he was a retired machinist with Tifton Aluminum and a member of V Vickers Church. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Harris of Enigma; sister, Betty Jean Turner of Enigma; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Harris of Enigma; sister-in-law, Patricia "Bug" Harris of Tifton. He was preceded in death by two brot brothers, Gene Harris and Gary Harris. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Feb. 5 at Vickers Church with the Rev. Ron Ronnie Lawson officiating. Amy Willis and Tammy Fowler sang "Gone," and the con congregation sang "Some Call it Heaven, I Call it Home" and "The Old Rugged Cro Cross." Interment was in Vickers Cemetery. Pallbearers were J.E. Bennett, Lamar Frazier, Guy Williams, Larry Harris, R Ricky Willis, Roy Reco, Larry Apperson. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
