She was born September 27, 1924, in Berrien County to the late Dave and Lessie Taylor Sutton. She was a homemaker and retired office manager for Jenkins Chevrolet, McLendon Chevrolet and McCranie-Griner Chevrolet with 49 years of service. She was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church and the widow of Ralph Elsworth “Bud” Harris who died in 2006. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Blevins, who died in 2010. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Lynda Harris of Moultrie and Jimmy and Marcia Harris of Alapaha; son-in-law, Ed Blevins of Nashville; five grandchildren, Kadience Harris, Katy Dosey, Lily Dosey, Victoria Dosey, Ann Harrell Blevins, Stella Blevins, Amelia Blevins. Funeral services were held April 8 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Diane Harris and Russ Elkins officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Memorial may be made to Disabled American Veterans. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
