C. Harrod, 89, of Ray City died August 28, 2006 at Berrien County Hospital. Born May 28, 1917 in Duval Co., FL, to the late Henry Franklin and Edna Young Harrod, he was a retired feed mill supervisor. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was married to the late Ira Bell Thompson Harrod. Survivors include one daughter, Norma Linares of Ray City; four sons, Harry Harrod of Albany, Jimmy Harrod and Larry Harrod, both of Ray City, Pixie Harrod of Nashville; one sister, Edna Jean Southerland of Moultrie; one brother, Jack Harrod of New Smyrna Beach, FL; 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren 7 great-great-granchildren. Funeral services were held Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with David Stalvey officiating. Interment with full military honors by the U. S. Marine Corps was held in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rance Harrod, Ryan Harrod, Clint Harrod, Kevin Harrod, James Wisenbaker, David Linares.
