 James Oscar Hawkins, 77, of Nashville died November 15, 2011, at his residence.
 Born June 29, 1934 in Atkinson County, he was a retired E-9 with 20 years se
service with the US Air Force and was also retired from Nashville Mills.
 Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Bray Hawkins of Nashville; three sons, M
Mike Hawkins and Tim Hawkins, both of Nashville, and Richard Hawkins of J
Jupiter, FL; grandson, Carl Hawkins; great grandson, Tyler Hawkins; brother, J
J.W. Hawkins of Nashville.
 Funeral services were held Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Hom
Home with Ian Burgin officiating. Appropriate music was provided.
 The family honored his request for cremation following the service.
 Honorary pallbearers were his Coffee Club Friends at Hardees.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of a
arrangements.
