Born Nov. 20, 1908, in Berrien County, she was the daughter of Ealie Luke and Mary Flanders. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Wesley Heaton. Survivors are one daughter in law, Melba Stone, Springfield; one sister, Maude Heaton, Alapaha; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Woodrow Stone. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., today in St. Luke Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Fussell will officiate.
