 Sarah Novelle Hendley, 79, of St. Petersburg, FL died April 5, 2004 at St. 
Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg.

 Born in Nashville to the late M.H. and Minnie Sirmans Hendley, she was a 
retired Certified Nurse Assistant at Morton Plant Hospital. She was a member 
and Sunday School teacher at Solid Rock Church of St. Petersburg. She 
volunteered with the PTA and Girl Scouts and worked with disadvantaged children.

 Survivors include four daughters, Judy Krueger, Pat Shuck, Lula Scrimo and Pam 
Yarbrough, all of St. Petersburg; four brothers, Emory Hendley and Rev. John 
Hendley of Adel, Reese Hendley of Orlando, FL and Joe Hendley of O'Brien, FL; 
one sister, Carolyn McCarthy of O'Brien; eight grandchildren, ten great-
grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held in St. Petersburg on April 9. A memorial service 
will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Berrien County at a later date.

 Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home of St. Petersburg was in charge of arrangements.
