 Betty Gaskins Highsmith, 94, of Tifton died March 21, 2005 at Tift Health Care.

 Born August 19, 1910 in Berrien County to the late Wade and Mary Corbitt 
Gaskins, she was a retired nurse. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church 
and the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. She was married to the late Allen C. 
Highsmith.

 Survivors include several nieces and cousins.

 A graveside service was held March 23 at 11 a.m. in Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray 
City with Rev. Jimmy Odum officiating.

 Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors, Tiftarea Chapel was in charge of 
arrangements.
