Euna Irene Holbrook, 85, of Alapaha died January 31, 2009 at her residence.
 Born July 6, 1923 in Oconee County, S.C., to the late Sam J. Smith and 
Ellafair Hudson Smith. she was a homemaker and a member of Flat Creek Church. 
She was the widow of Marvin Junior Holboork, who died in 2006. She is survived 
by five daughters and sons-in-law, Frankie Exum of Nashville, Maxine (Robert) 
Adams of Nashville, Flora (Ralph) Cannon of Leesburg, Emily (Jimmy) Fulp of 
Nashville and Marilyn (Randy) Lancaster of Nashville; five sons and daughters-
in-law, Wesley (JoNan) Holbrook of Lakeland, Clark (Brenda) Holbrook of 
Sylvester, Kerry (Belinda) Holbrook of Nashville, Phillip (Angie) Holbrook of 
Nashville and Stacy (Shannon) Holbrook of Nashville; two sisters, Edna Arnold 
of McDonough, Bertie Mundy of McDonough; a brother, Newell Smith of Locust 
Grove; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be Monday, Feb. 
2, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and the 
Rev. Danny Ray. Interment will be at Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Wesley Holbrook, Clark Holbrook, Kerry Holbrook, Phillip Holbrook, Stacy 
Holbrook, Eston Connell. Visitation will be Sunday from 7-9 p.m. - Lovein 
Funeral Home, Nashville.
