Born in Ft. Belvior, VA on May 4, 1961, he had lived in Berrien County for the past five years. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and was a retired Master Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force. He was devoted to his family and was an avid bass fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his wife, Christina Moore Holland of Nashville; two daughters, Shae and Sarah Holland of Nashville; his father and stepmother, Eric and Dee Holland of Stuart, FL; his mother, Joanne Yorke Holland of Locustgrove, VA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bryan and Stacy Holland of Manassas, VA, Joe and Ginny Holland of Stafford, VA; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Aileen and Dave Bechtold of Sugar Hill, Renee and Jim Bowman, Brandon, Miss, Jeanine and Kevin Cudahy of Manassas; mother-in-law and father- in-law, Guy and Monica Moore of Hahira; two aunts and uncles, Maryjean and John Rinkenberg and Kathy and James Cheetam; numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary was recited Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. A mass was held Nov. 2 at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home with Father Freddy Angel and Father Marvin LeFrois officiating. The congregation sang "Amazing Grace" during opening "Ava Maria" was sung by Paula Zakrzeski during offertory; "Earthen Vessels" was played during communion; and the congregation sang "On Eagles" during the closing. Ann Hilgert served as pianist. Interment was held at 2:30 p.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville with full military honors with Father Thomas Fey officiating. Active pallbearers were Bryan Holland, Joel Holland, David Moore, Ben Bechtold, Andrew Bowman and Kyle Bowman. Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
