 Gracie Louise Holmes, 22, of Nashville died November 4, 2011 at her residence.
 She was born on December 9, 1988 in Clinch County to Elden Holmes and Patty A
Ann Powers. For 15 years, she suffered with the disease known as Metachromatic L
Leukodystrophy (MLD).
 Survivors include her mother and step-father, Patty and Brooks Bailey of 
Nashville; her father, Elden Holmes (Dorsi Simmons) of Nashvile; two sisters, 
Bridgett (Donny) Cersey and Elina Ann Holmes of Nashville; step-brother, Dixon 
Bailey of Nashville; paternal grandmother, Virginia Holmes of Nashville; 
maternal step-grandparents, K.P. and Gail Pleasants of Alapaha.
 Funeral services were held on November 7 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Songs on CD 
included “Amazing Grace” and “I Can Only Imagine.”
 Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were John Nix, Lamar Bailey, Timbo Nelson, Tim Nelson.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of a
arrangements.
