 Alice Hilda Holton, 77, of Forest Park died October 16, 2013 at Southern 
Regional Medical Center in Riverdale.
 She was born December 10, 1935 in Cook County to the late Western Columbus and 
Toye Ethel Weeks Powers. She was a retired service representative with Southern 
Bell and was employed by Southern Regional Medical Center as a PBX operator. 
She was the widow of Jacky Thomas Holton who died in 1992.
 She is survived by two daughters, Angela Holton (Greg) Thomas of Forest Park 
and Paula Holton Valdez; three sisters, Emma Jean Lewis of Nashville, Margaret 
Flowers of Adel, and Eva Nell (Sherwood) King of Nashville; brother, Chris 
Powers of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held October 19 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating.
 Interment followed at Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
