 Luke Hutto, Jr., 74, of Bakerhill, AL, died June 3, 2010, at Henry County H
Health and Rehabilitation after an extended illness.
 Born Feb. 22, 1936, in Barbour County to the late Iva Mae Gulledge and Luke 
Hutto, Sr., he was a retired from the Alabama National Guard and had worked for 
many years with Boyd Bros. Trucking and Boyd Farms. He was a member of Friendly 
Assembly of God Church. He was also a member of the Cattlemen’s Association, 
Farm Bureau, a 32nd Degree Mason, past director of the Pea River Electric 
Board, board member of Barbour Farmers Co-op, and a member of the Ocean Towers B
Beach Club in Panama City Beach, FL. He enjoyed his grandchildren, vegetable g
gardening, fishing and his cows. He was preceded in death by his siblings, D
Dewey Hutto, Pete Hutto, Loyd C. Hutto, and Janie Gulledge.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Joyce Hutto of Clayton, AL; a son and 
daughter-in-law, Rickey and Betty Hutto of Eufaula, AL; three daughters and 
sons-in-law, June and Mike Chavers of Clayton, Vivian and Tim Shirah of 
Alapaha, Leeisa and Danny Jimmerson of Eufaula; four brothers, Harold Hutto and 
Billy Hutto, both of Clayton, Bobby Joe Hutto and Jimmy Hutto, both of Eufaula; 
two sisters, Betty Smith of Eufaula and Elizabeth Johnson of Clayton; 11 
grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held June 6 at 3 p.m. at Friendly Assembly of God Church wit
with the Revs. Ronnie Benefield and Bobby Hines officiating.
 Interment was in the church cemetery.
 Kent Funeral Home of Eufaula was in charge of arrangements.
