Born August 6, 1914 in Cook County to the late Frank and Purl Butler Griffin, she was a homemaker and retired nurse with the Berrien County Health Department. She was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church where she was a children's Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Frank Gaskins of Nashville and Barbara Jean Folsom of Crestview, FL; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held February 28 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Southerland officiating. Musical selections included "Amazing Grace," "The Lord's Prayer," and "It is Well With My Soul." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nick Peterson, Adam Peterson, Duke Gaskins, Tal Gaskins, Robert Thomas, Arch Clark. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
