 ALAPAHA -- John Arthur Jacobs, 49 , Alapaha, died Saturday in Charleston, SC. 
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Missionary Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. Interment will follow at St. 
Luke Cemetery.
 Visitation will be Monday after 3 p.m. with the family receiving friends 7-9 
p.m. 
 A native of Dade Co., FL, Jacobs was born Aug. 11, 1949 to Owen John Jacobs 
and Leona Tyson. He was employed as a concrete fabricator.
 Survivors include: father and mother, O.J. and Leona Jacobs, Alapaha; one 
sister, Deborah Hawkins, Tifton; one brother, Robert Jacobs, Ocala, FL.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
