Born November 4, 1938, in Berrien County to the late Eunice Grantham and Edward Beauren Jacobs, Sr., he was a retired farmer and member of Glory United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Stephens, who died in 1995, grandson, Brandon Jacobs, sister, Wydene Giddens and a step-son, Danny Watkins. Survivors include his wife, Pat Jacobs of Nashville; three daughters, Freida Hall of Tifton, Teresa Stoner and Cindy Willis, both of Alapaha; sons, Floyd Jacobs of Alapaha and Michael Jacobs of Willacoochee; sisters, son, Danny Watkins. Survivors include his wife, Pat Jacobs of Nashville; three daughters, Freida Hall of Tifton, Teresa Stoner and Cindy Willis, both of Alapaha; sons, Floyd Jacobs of Alapaha and Michael Jacobs of Willacoochee; sisters, Wylene Hughes and Geraldine Phillips, both of Longwood, FL, and Barbara Brogdon of Valdosta; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Cretia LeBlanc of Tifton; two step-sons, Stoney Watkins of Spartanburg, SC, and Phillip Watkins of Vernon, AL; 11 step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 15 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Tucker officiating. Kyle Dean sang “Amazing Grace,” “Go Rest High on That Mountain,” and “Beulah Land;” Jacob Hall sang “Homesick.” Interment followed at Glory Cemetery. Pallbearers were Josh Stoner, Justin Jacobs, Terry Willis, Brian Jacobs, M Michael Jacobs, Jacob Hall. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
