Maggie Lenora Jefferson, 82, of Nashville, died September 16, 2014, at Berrien 
Nursing Center.
 She was born October 7, 1931, in Berrien County to the late Arlie Newton and 
Maudie Howell Harnage. She was a homemaker and retired school food service 
employee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City and the widow 
of James Elias “Jeff” Jefferson who died in 1998. She was also preceded in death 
by three brothers, Sherman Harnage, Herman Harnage and Henry Harnage.
 She is survived by a sister, Betty (Robert) Hughes of Nashville; brother, 
Donald (Katie) Harnage of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held September 18 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of 
Ray City with the Rev. Robbie Peavy officiating.
 Interment was in Beaver Dam Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
