Born August 17, 1938 in Berrien County to Kizzie Rouse Dupree of Ray City and the late Felder Dupree, she was a homemaker. She was married to the late Virgil Jewell. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jody Rowan. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two daughters, Donna Rowan of Ray City and Debbie Williams of West Berrien; two sons, Joe Kilpatrick, Nashville, Tommy Kilpatrick of Remerton; two sisters, Gladys Graham and Mary Adams, both of Nashville; two brothers, L.V. Dupree of Nashville and Elton Dupree of Ray City; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Mitchell and Billy Creech officiating. Musical selections included "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "Long Black Train." Interment was in Guest Mill Pond Cemetery in Clinch County. Active pallbearers were Joe Kilpatrick, Jr., Tim McMillan, Daniel McMillan, Scott Adams, Chris Adams, Jimmy Dupree, Pat Dupree, Dane Lancaster. Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Williams, John Williams, Chad Tyson. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
