Born in Cheyenne, WY, in 1957 to the late Ruby Gladys Keen and Virgil H. Parr, Jr., she had lived in Berrien County for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker and member of New Covenant Church. Survivors include her husband, Gary Johnson of Nashville; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and David Godwin of Valdosta; one son and daughter-in-law, Dwane and Charlotte Johnson of Nashville; grandchildren, Sierra Griner of Nashville, Daniel Weaver and Dawson Godwin of Valdosta; one sister and brother- in-law, Lynn and Thomas Rice of Ray City; one brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Brooke Hoke Parr of Ray City; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services were held May 31 at 2 p.m. at New Covenant Church in Valdosta with Pastor Randy Stephen officiating. Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Carson McLane Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
