She was born on July 5, 1919, in Berrien County to the late Perry and Maxine Stone Harper. She was a homemaker, member of and for several years she was the pastor of Mathis Chapel Holiness Baptist Church. She was the widow of Harvie Joiner, who died in 2001. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Stone, Ann Joiner, both of Nashville; four sons, Glendon Joiner, Harold Joiner, Lamar Joiner, Ronnie Joiner, all of Nashville; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Reabeth Taylor of Nashville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Joiner; two brothers, Perry Harper and Aubrey Harper; two sisters, Opal Harper and Doris Brogdon McClellan. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Sloan and the Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. Interment will be held in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. Pallbearers were Derek Joiner, Blair Joiner, Chase Joiner, Steve Joiner, David Taylor, Russell Harper. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville was in charge of arrangements.
