NASHVILLE -- Mattie Jones, 90, of Route 2, died Monday in the Northside 
Hospital in Macon after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of 
Berrien County and member of the Nashville First Baptist Church.
 She is survived by three daughters, Helen Bullard, Macon; Ala Bandy, 
Greenville, SX,; Lawanna Davis, Pulaski, TN; three sons, Larry Jones, Athens, 
Kennon Jones and Hurbert Jones both of Atlanta; three sisters, Onnie Moore, 
Nashville; Rhoda Vickers, Valdosta; Velma Caldwell, Douglas; one brother, Newt 
Tyson, Nashville; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in 
death by her husband, Mitchell Jones and a son, Virgil Jones.
 Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Billy Southerland and the Rev. Fred Hesters officiating. Burial will 
be in the Long Bridge Cemetery. 
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

She was born 3-31-1903 Berrien Co., GA
died Monday 10-11-1993 in Northside Hospital in Macon, Bibb Co., GA
