Mrs. Keeffe was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Mitchell County to Wiley O. and Ruby Bostick Bostick Burnum, both deceased. She was a homemaker and retired teacher with the Berrien County Board of Education, a member of Nashville First Baptist Church and Berrien Retired Teachers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Keeffe Keeffe, who died in 2009. Survivors include a niece, Rhonda (Billy) Pate of Albany; two great-nieces, Stephanie Pate of Milledgeville and Julie Pate of Savannah; two cousins, Kay (Frederick) Warnell of Richmond Hill, and Reggie (Jenny) Bostick of Camilla; and a sister, Emogene Kirkland of Abbeville, Ala. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Nashville First Baptist C Church with the Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. Deborah sang "How Great Thou A Art" and "Beulah Land." Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 tonight at Lovein Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jerry Hall, Jimmy Lane, Allen Fountain, Al Gaskins, Kenny H Hughes, Frank Patton. Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
