The Berrien Press -- Ava Nix Kelley of Hawkinsville died August 4, 2008.
 Born December 24, 1934 in Berrien County, she was a retired Civil Service 
employee from Robins Air Force Base with 43 years and nine months of service. 
She was a loved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
 Survivors include her children, Gregg (and Alison) Kelley of Pineview and 
Greta (and Matthew) Wright of Perry; grandchildren, James (and Haley) Kelley 
of Calhoun, Marti Kelley, Kellyn Wright; great-grandchild, Addison Kelley; 
siblings, Billy Ruth Wright, Gay Glover, Wilson nix, Sonny Nix, and Emerson 
Nix.
 A private family service was held.
 The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American 
Cancer Society for the support of Ovarian Cancer research.
 Wages and Sons Funeral Home of Stone Mountain was in charge of arrangements.
