 Katherine Kelly, 80, of Nashville, died May 17, 2012, at Berrien Nursing C
Center.
 Born May 22, 1931, in Berrien County to the late Lafayette Carlton and Flora 
Eastman Spells, she was a homemaker and retired from Nashville Textile. She 
attended Nashville First Church of the Nazarene and Nashville Mission. She was 
the widow of Walter "D.C." Kelly who died in 2000 and was also preceded in 
death by a son-in-law, Danny Kirkland, who died in 2012.
 She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kirkland of Nashville; son, Terrell 
Kelly of Nashville; grandsons, Scott (Michelle) Kirkland and Steven Kirkland; 
three great-children, Daniel Kirkland, Emma-Kate Ansley Kirkland, Braydon K
Kirkland.
 Funeral services were held May 19 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral ho
home with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. "It is Well with My Soul" was pl
played on CD.
 Pallbearers were Keith Griffin, Larry Stone, Elmo Spells, Wendell Spells, M
Marvin Brooks, Charles Stanford.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
