 Richard J. "Pops" Kennedy, Sr., 76, of Nashville died Feb. 2, 2009 at his re
residence.
 Born July 27, 1932 in Syracuse, NY, he was a retired sheet metal worker and an a
avid bowler.
 Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shyrlie J. Kennedy; brother, Donald 
(Helen) Walrath of NY; sister, Charlotte (Charlie) Zambito of NY; children, 
Brian (Grace) Kennedy of Nashville, Candace (Frank) Westman and April (Harold)
Harrod
Harrod both of Tampa, FL, Timothy "Angie" Kennedy and Richard (Pauline) 
Kennedy, Jr., both of Lakeland, Kelly (Tanya) Kennedy and Anthony Kennedy, both 
of Benton, AR; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 A memorial service was held on Feb. 5 at his residence with Father Tim Blanton 
officiating. A video of  "Pops" life was shown and his granddaughter, Autumn, 
read a poem written by her.
