Born August 17, 1966 in Berrien County to Sherwood and Eva Nell Powers King of Nashville, he was self-employed as an entertainment contract promoter. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his daughter, Madison King, sister, Kim King, nephew, Dalton King; all of Nashville. Funeral services were held Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Mickey Lindsey and Ed Godwin officiating. Buck Warren sang "Three Wooden Crosses" and "Long Black Train." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Pernell McCorvey, Rodney Walker, Chad McGee, Jim Richard King, Chris Chism, Jeff Vining. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
