Born September 30, 1915 in Berrien County to the late Gordon and Ethel Pearl Bradford Griner, she was a homemaker and for many years owned and operated "Dessa's," a women's apparel shop that bears her name today. She was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church and was married to the late J.U. "Jim" King and the late Ruben Griner. Survivors include extended family members. Funeral services were held August 3 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Adams, David Deloach, Jackie Dove, Marcus Hayes, Rick Carter. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
