 Wilson Lamar King, 67, of Alapaha died January 1, 2013, at South Georgia 
Regional Medical Center.
 He was born on June 11, 1945, in Berrien County to the late Wilson and Ruby 
Nell Nicholson King. He was a farmer and a former Berrien County Deputy 
Sheriff. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of Nashville First 
Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lily Grace West.
 He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Clifton King of Alapaha; three daughters, 
Robin (Greg) Clanton of Nashville, Dawn (Ran) West and Hope (Gary) Giddens, all 
of Alapaha; sister, Mary Alice McGee of Alapaha; six grandchildren, Hunter 
Clanton, Grady Giddens, Emma Giddens, Beau West, Katie Marie Giddens and Bella 
West.
 Funeral services were held June 4 at 11 a.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church with 
the Revs. Mickey Lindsey and Raymond Cason officiating.
 Interment followed at Flat Creek Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
