Born in Nashville, she was a homemaker and member of East 44th Street Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was married to the late Curtis Kleckley. Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Fowler and Emma Sue Eleazner; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 12 at East 44th Street Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Vaughn, pastor, officiating. "The Lord's Prayer" was sung by Lowell Bryan, and the congregation sang "Amazing Grace," accompanied by Kevin White, pianist. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alan Churchill, Michael Churchill, John Ibarreche, Greg Miller, Kenneth Lee Prater, Smitty Shuman. Purvis Funeral of Adel was in charge of local arrangements.
