Flora Juanita Knight, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at the Heritage House in 
Valdosta. She was born in Berrien County on Feb. 16, 1925, to George B. 
McLendon and Emma Hancock. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist 
Church of Valdosta. She was the widow of Jack D. Knight who died in 1994. She 
also was preceded in death by a son, Jack D. Knight Jr., who died in 1986.
She is survived by three daughters: Sharon Lawlor, Valdosta; Sandra Rowe, 
Dawson; and Sylvia Faulk, Wake Forest, N.C., six grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the 
Children’s Advocacy of Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the chapel 
of Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville with Mr. Jackson Moore officiating.
Interment will be at Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior 
to the service. —Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville.
