Born Nov. 23, 1946, in Berrien County to the late Caulie Warren and Nancy King Knight Knight, he was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, Betty Gaskins Knight of Nashville; two daughters, Sue ( Sue (Rev. Nathan) Stone and Misty Knight, all of Nashville; a son, Travis Knigh Knight of Fredonia, KS; a brother, Ted Knight of Douglas; four sisters, Vickie Clant Clanton of Nashville, Eve Nell Robb and Carolyn Duberly, both of Savannah, Dot Laven Lavender of Mystic; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his former wife, wife, Linda Hernandez; a special friend, Lavera Horton. He was preceded in death death by a brother, Edward Knight. Services were held at 10 a.m. on June 30 in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with with the Revs. Nathan Stone and Donnie Sloan officiating. Ann Handley sang sang "Thank You, Lord" and "I Call It Home," accompanied by Darrell Hand Handley. "Help is On the Way" was played on CD. Interment was in Pleasant Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Darrell Hendley, Randy Gaines, J.D. Eaton, Wade Eaton, Na Nathan Stone, II, Lamar Pelletier. Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Neisen, Jim Gaskins, Robert Skinner.
