Knight Died at Ray City A report was received here today of the death of Mrs. E.M. Knight, a very highly esteemed young woman of Ray City. Her death followed an attack of typhoid fever with which she was stricken three weeks ago. Her illness was not very serious at first and it was thought that she would recover, but complications set in and the end came early Sunday. Mrs. Knight was about thirty-six years of age and was Miss Era Swindle, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Swindle. Her mother, her husband and three children survive her. The children are Misses Omega, Marjory and Master James Knight. Besides her immediate family, she leaves a large number of relatives and friends throughout the upper part of Lowndes and the adjoining counties. Her funeral will occur this afternoon between 3 and 4 o’clock. Her death causes universal sorrow among all who knew her.
