The Berrien Press -- Elizabeth "Betty" Knox, 74 of Adel died November 27, 2007 
at Memorial Hospital of Adel.
 Born October 10, 1933 in Berrien County to the late Willie Mae Griffin and 
Roy Marcus Ray, Sr., she was retired from the accounting department at 
Nashville Mills. She was a member of Adel United Methodist Church and Adel 
Garden Club. She was married to the late Cyril Wycliff Knox, Sr.
 Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Ramonda "R.J." Ray of 
Adel and Mae and Larry Watson of Nashville; one brother, Roy Ray, Jr. of 
Nashville; one sister, Edna Harrell of Nashville; close friend, J.D. Cone of 
Nashville; five grandchildren, Josh McMillan, Jason McMillan, Michael Knox, 
Christina Ray, Kris Watson Nix; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in 
death by a daughter. Betty Ann McMillan and one son, Cyril W. "Cliff" Know, Jr.
 Funeral services were held Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home 
Chapel with Dr. Dan Williamson officiating. Wayne and Mary Nell Boyette 
sang "Consider the Lillies" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain."
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Mark Ray, Tom Ray, Donnie Harrell, Charles Donald Napier, 
Chris Ray, Lloyd Johnson, Laverne Hall.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Her daughter, Betty Ann Knox McMillan was my sister-in-law.
