 Billy Gene Kokotis, 65, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Valdosta, died 
September 1, 2006.
 He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. His parents, the late Gustovus and 
Mary Louise Wright Kokotis, were previous owners of Rainbow Court Inn on Hwy. 
41.
 Survivors include a special friend of 25 years, Georgeanna Wineland and her 
children of Hot Springs, Ark; one twin brother, Harold Dean Kokotis of Hot 
Springs; daughters and one son in law, Billy Jean and Gerald Fender and Brenda 
Young, all of Nashville; two grandsons, Michael and Mark Fender of Nashville; 
three children of Valdosta from a previous marriage, several aunts and uncles, 
cousins, nieces and nephews of Valdosta.
 Upon his wishes, his remains were cremated and buried next to his parents in 
Riverview Memorial Cemetery with a Veterans Administration Memorial Bronze 
Plaque. There was no formal service.
 Hot Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
