Joyce Marie Lancaster, 63, of Nashville died February 27, 2013 at South Georgia 
Medical Center.
She was born March 21, 1949  in Berrien County to the late Joe and Flora Burnsed
Burnsed Gaskins. She was a homemaker and member of Hope Baptist Church.
 She is survived by her husband, Johnny Lancaster of Nashville; daughter, 
Shannon (Rusty Harper of Nashville; son, Shawn (Beth) Lancaster of Valdosta; 
brother Ronald Gaskins of Valdosta; two sisters, Faye Newsome of Quitman and 
Linda Daugherty of Nashville; four grandchildren, Rhett, Maggie, Ethan, Owen.
 Funeral services were held on March 2 at 2 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Ray Calvin, Rev. Bob Willis, and Rev. Jerry Baldree officiating.
 Pallbearers were Chad Nelms, Adam Daughtery, Eric Swain, David Lanier, Taylor 
Newsome, Dane Lanier.
 Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
