 Melvin Thomas Lane, 54, of Nashville died April 4, 2008 at Berrien County 
Hospital.
 Born April 14, 1953 in Cook County to the late Melvin and Dell Smith Lane, he 
was a truck driver.
 Survivors include his wife, Regina Reedy Lane of Nashville; daughter, Victoria 
Exum, Nashville; three sisters, Helen Bristol and Shirley Rogers, both of 
Nashville, Barbara Jean Gorges of Blue Ridge; brother, Rick Lane of Nashville. 
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa Lane.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on April 6 in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. The Bristol family 
sang "Amazing Grace," "Three Times a Day," and "I'm a Winner Either Way."
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
