 Eddie Vasco Langford, 87, of Nashville, formerly of Griffin, died April 28, 
2005.

 He served in the U.S. Army in WWII and was a member of Nashville First Baptist 
Church. He worked as director of Griffin Technical College and was a former 
member of Griffin Kiwanis Club.

 Survivors include his wife, Sarah Luke Langford of Nashville; two sons, Eddie 
Langford of Snellville and James Langford of Marietta; sister, Aileen Walker of 
Vero Beach, FL; brother, Rudolph Langford of Ray City; five grandchildren, 
seven great-grandchildren.

 A graveside service was held May 1 at 3 p.m. at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens 
in Conyers, GA.

 Scott H. Ward Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
