 Johnnie  S. Lee, 84, of Hephzibah died January 10, 2013.
 He was the son of the late Dennis and Martha Chism Lee and was a member of 
First Christian Church. He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a chief x-ray 
technician for the VA Hospial. He was an avid farmer and devoted father, 
grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie 
Pauline Browning Lee.
 Survivors include two sons, Larry G. (Mary) Lee of Hephzibah and Johnny D. 
(Emmie) Lee of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Larry G. (Mandi Debow) Lee, Jr. and 
Margaret M. Lee, both of Hephzibah, Melissa (Daniel Goldstein) Lee of New York 
City, NY, great-grandchildren, Grace Elouise Lee Goldstein, Gabreilla Page Lee 
and Hunter Alexander Hobbs; brother-in-law, Leon Browning, Jr., sister-in-law, 
Brenda Browning of Hephzibah; niece, Pamela (Chris) Gay of Hephzibah, many 
other nieces and nephews.
 A graveside services was held January 12 at Nashville Memorial Gardens.
Poteet Funeral Home of Augusta was in charge of arrangements
